I didn't run last year because my foot was broken😳 so this was my VERY first ever official track meet😱 I ran well, but definitely not well enough! But it was fun so that's good!💁

I ran the medley for the first time and the 800 for the first time😂 I would say my time and place but I'd rather not😳😒 + 1 mile cool down = tiring day 2 but super fun!

I'm just super annoyed that I haven't come anywhere close to my PR for a while😤 but that's ok, I've got 3 more track seasons to get it😂💁🏽

Region yaaasssssss😛 (1 Miles) 00:05:46 | | 2 mile warm up + 1 mile race + 1 mile cool down = pretty decent race! I finally broke 5:50 again😂 ...finally. It's frustrating to only be a freshman, because I'm working hard!.. But I'm not getting super fast like I wish I was! But then I have to remember I'm only a freshman, like everyone keeps telling me😂😤 anyways, in PE today, my teacher was being a dumb but and made us run the bleachers and run around the track ON THE DAY OF REGION!😡 I was raging!!!!! But, of course, I still did it because I'm a student or whatever.😌 anyways again, the race today: we got our 2 mile warm up in plus strides and what not, and got to the starting line... And then they realized they weren't ready for us so we just kept warming up. I almost was too warmed up by the time my race actually started! On the first 200m I stayed behind the pack just to see where everyone was at and see who I could stick with. I was in the slower heat so I was up in the front of the group. At about 250m everyone dropped back and I was left in the front by myself😢 I actually love leading though so it was fun! The only other time I've lead was against only pine view and it was a JV race😏. But I still count it as leading💁🏽anyways again, the next couple of laps were a blur and then my finish sucked👏🏼😐 but it was fun and it was the last time I'll race the mile this season so yay!!!.... Wow that took a while to write😌😳

Region day #2!!! (2 Miles) 00:12:38 | | 2 mile warm up + 30 min delay + 2 mile race + 1 1/2 mile cool down = terrible day at region!🎉🎉🎉 YAY I SUCKED😄.... 🔫😐 ( that is me shooting the happy guy) anyways, we warmed up and I took my magics energy jelly beans💁🏽😂 and then we got delayed so I sat inside and tightened up. Then had a 5 minute warm up with 2 strides and "raced". Not really a race, more like a workout. I just tucked in behind Alexis because I was stupid and also I felt like if I were to run too fast, I would pull something😅 but yeah I just drafted the whole race and almost got lapped so that's wonderful😌😳 but it was a good learning experience because I've never had my race delayed so I didn't know what to do😂 now I know!🎉👏🏼💁🏽💁🏽💁🏽

It rained the night before but not while we were running😥 so I wanted to punch someone in the face (not really, it wasn't that hot outside so I didn't really care if it rained or not)😂 then we had some king size otter pops when we got back to ma house💁🏽💁🏽💁🏽

| | tempo run out in Warner valley today! Since Mother Nature hates us, it rained again LAST NIGHT. Why in the heck does it not just rain while we are running!😂😤 but that's ok, the sucky part was the bugs.. I don't even know what they were, but they were all over! I've got so many friggen bites I might as well tell people I have chicken pox😂 but yeah the actual tempo run was fine. Not good and not terrible, just fine😌 plus we did a cool down.😎 oh yeah and we have an afternoon run today and I haven't actually ran it yet but I can tell you how that's gonna go, me Alexis and Laynee are gonna go hit up Warner valley again and run 3 miles in the hot weather.. That's about it💁🏽

| | 5 miles east on prospector trail with a pretty good group of gals!💁🏽 + went for a 3 mile afternoon run that was 🔥🔥🔥!

| | 2 1/2 mile warm up + a couple do fun 400s all out + mile cool down = pretty fab day!💁🏽 other than the fact we were getting eaten alive by bugs (AGAIN) , we had a good time😂 the first 400 was awkward cause I forgot how to run a 400😳 whoops! But the next one was better and more funner😌 and that's about all we did.. I walked away with only a few hundred mosquito bites! Better than most the team😏😂

| | 4 miles easy at about noon. I just went by myself so it was a good time. My lungs were kind of acting up though

| | 2 1/2 mile warm up + 3x500m uphill repeats @ 90% effort. Felt like I was going 10000% because of my cough that started about Friday morning. But anyways, I didn't do well on today's workout, in fact, I sucked!💁🏽

| | After my 2 hour debate with my mom, I decided to obey and honor my parents and skip morning practice today cause last night I had a high fever and my cough was even worse. I've been trying all the Pinterest remedies and even took coaches advice on how to kill a cough.😂 I rested a TON today amd then go on a short 3 mile run and see how I feel. Sucks to suck cause I barely got through it without dying!😌 I think I'm just gonna rest some more and keep trying to kill it and see how the Vo2 goes tomorrow.😅

| | 1/2 mile warm up + about 4 miles behind the school and on the turf.😒 painful to watch everyone run the Vo2 today.. I never thought I'd say this, but I would have loved to run that workout today😂 hopefully I'll get over whatever I've got soon... Resting all day is like being in hell. That's no exaggeration😌

| | Easy 4 miles today by Navajo lake HOLLA!💁🏽 Haven't been up there since last year when I walked half of my run😂 lol this year I did a little bit better and ran the whole thing(👏🏼) except for lily and I had to take some breaks to cough our lungs out, but it was more successful than yesterday so I'll take it!😌 now if I could just get better by tomorrow so I could actually run a workout for once in my life.😆
